Royal award for Riemer Rijpkema (CLC-VECTA)

During a special meeting of the trade association CLC-VECTA, Riemer was appointed Knight in the Order of Orange Nassau (Ridder in de Orde van Oranje Nassau)

In Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin Noordwijk, Riemer Rijpkema was appointed Knight in the Order of Orange Nassau. He received the Royal Decoration from the mayor of Vlissingen, Drs. A.R.B. van den Tillaar.

Important contribution
Riemer receives the award for the important contribution he has made to the professionalization and development of the (business) event industry in the Netherlands. He also played an important part in representing the industry during the corona crisis. He was also involved in the so-called Field Lab events.

As an independent entrepreneur, Riemer has many years of experience in organizing various trade fairs and conferences at home and abroad. During that time he was also involved in and with various industry associations and initiatives for example YOIN excellent meeting places. As chairman of the trade association FBTN, he was the co-founder and designer of the current trade association CLC-VECTA by realizing the merger with VNC, ESAH and later VECTA.

In his role as director of CLC-VECTA, he was responsible for the joint research with BUAS and CELTH into the future of the Live communication industry, the Stock Exchange Monitor, the Value Models for Exhibitions and Congresses, he is committed to projects related to a Lifelong Development and he is active in various boards, committees and consultative bodies such as Gastvrij Nederland, SBB and VNO-NCW/MKB-Nederland.
